April 26 is a national Day of Mourning in the Republic of Belarus – the Day of the Chernobyl tragedy. This April date has become special not only for Belarus, but for the whole world.
Our country honors the memory of the Chernobyl events. Every fifth resident of Belarus became a victim of Chernobyl in one way or another. Monuments and commemorative signs have been erected in many localities in memory of villages displaced after the Chernobyl accident.
And today, the employees of the enterprise, together with the NGO "Belaya Rus", honored the memory of those who died in that terrible tragedy by laying flowers at the monument "Akhvyaram Charnobylya" in the Peoples' Friendship Park.
