The solemn ceremony of launching the republican project "Minsk — the youth capital of the Republic of Belarus 2026" and passing the baton from Gomel took place on March 26, 2026 at the Youth House. During the year, the capital will become the main venue for national and international youth events aimed at self-realization of young people.

  The festive event brought together not only the youth of Minsk, but also guests from the regions. An exhibition is presented for them, demonstrating the opportunities for self-realization of young people in creativity, sports, science, civic and patriotic education and social activities.

  As part of this project, flowers were laid at the monument "Minsk - the hero city".

  A disco at the Football Manege sports complex will be a pleasant end to this project
