Alexander Pavlovich Malevich, born in 1908, is the grandfather of the director of the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Special Communications” Yan Maratovich Malevich.

From the first day of the war he went to the front as a volunteer. From December 1941 he was sent to courses for command personnel, then to the reserve unit. From the autumn of 1943 he was again at the front. He commanded a company of the 33rd rifle division of the 2nd army.
